DigitalMaas, a leading local marketing platform, has joined together with some of Australia and New Zealand’s best technology companies to provide a free version of DigitalMaas’s cloud-based local marketing software to small businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. DigitalMaas is working with Umbrellar Group in New Zealand and New York-based Yext (NYSE: YEXT), the Search Experience Cloud company, to support business owners as they reopen their doors after the COVID-19 shutdown. The DigitalMaas Platform will be used to make this process as easy for the small business as possible and has committed to supporting up to 100,000 small businesses as part of this initiative.
DigitalMaas has made all the functions and features previously reserved for paying customers free for businesses affected during the pandemic. These features will allow customers to post to their Google My Business Pages, edit opening hours, update delivery and takeaway options, and monitor and respond to reviews.
With the help of Yext, accurate business information will be updated on Google, Facebook, Instagram, Apple Maps, Bing Places, and approximately 35 other digital services in the Yext Knowledge Network.
